“The icon for the 68th anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de los Remedios reflects the theme “”Do whatever he tells you”” from the Gospel of John, encapsulating the essence of the Wedding at Cana.
Key Elements:
The Jar Pouring Water into Wine symbolizes Jesus’ first public miracle at Cana, where he transformed water into wine. The jar also signifies Jesus as the vessel of divine grace, cleansing humanity of sin.
Rose: a symbol of Mary, our Virgen de los Remedios, representing her purity, glory, and sorrow. The rose also reflects her deep love for God and Jesus.
Mt. Arayat. The mountain, one of Pampanga’s representations, grounds the logo’s local context and cultural significance.
The Feather represents the apostle John, connecting the theme to the gospel. It also honors the host vicariate, named after St. John the Beloved.
The logo subtly forms the number “”68,”” marking the anniversary year. The design embraces flowing, feminine lines, resonating with the liquid element in the theme, creating a harmonious and graceful visual identity. Conceptualized and created by the Archdiocesan Commission on Social Communications (Rev. Fr. Al R. Manacmul, III, Nigel Ian Laxamana, and Klaine Lester Yabut).
